The Colour by MICHELA OLIVIERI: The Roxy’s bold colour was inspired by the beautiful image of Kate Moss featured in the Mcqueen SS14 campaign. She wears a gladiator influenced outfit, and to complement the tough look the hair is short and worn off the face. The illuminous, gold shade is similar colouring to the helmet a gladiator would wear. Looking back at ancient roman and Greek culture, blonde hair with a strong golden tone, along with blue eyes, was considered the ultimate beauty feature and most associated with the gods. The finished result of the Roxy colour echnique combines a solid metallised surface through the perimeter and the roots with a translucent, luminous touch on the ends and at the front of the hairline.
